Based in Kansas City, The Daniel Academy is a private school focusing on high-quality instruction for preschool-aged kids through high school. With its robust programming and extracurricular activities, The Jump provides a dedicated platform for staff to connect privately, as well as with students and parents.
While The Daniel Academy utilizes RenWeb—a school administration software—to manage its business and logistical components, the school found that the program’s social element fell flat. With The Jump, they’re able to extend the conversation in a more casual environment, providing a fun place for families, students and staff to connect.
Beginning in kindergarten, each class has its own private Jump. Now, it’s easy to plan social events, celebrate birthdays and chat about upcoming programming. It’s also simplified the way volunteer efforts come together.
From chess and drama clubs to basketball and soccer, if there’s an interest group at The Daniel Academy, you’ll find a Jump for that. The app creates a direct line of communication between leadership, students, parents and support staff to ask questions, share pictures, save dates and more.
Student government thrives on The Jump. Both the junior high and high school student counsel groups at TDA connect privately on the app to brainstorm fundraisers, social events, community service ideas and initiatives.
"RENWEB REMAINS A KEY TOOL AT THE SCHOOL, BUT WE WERE MISSING THAT SOCIAL ELEMENT. THE JUMP IS A GREAT COMPLEMENT TO KEEP THE CONVERSATION MOVING.”
